Rachael Ray is and English Bulldog and her Older, little, brother Momo is a Persian Kitty

Momo was a small kitten when he was brought into the family and he grew up with another english bulldog named Zoe who passed away. Zoe was the bulldog with 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye that was seen on the wal-mart version boxcover of the Servin It Up DVD.

After some time, debating and finally searching, we came across Rachael Ray, who was a breeder to breeder trade/rescue/adoption with some local friends who specialize in show quality bullies. Ray has great lineage and she is very very healthy and athletic, especially for her breed. Ray has been a small handful as would getting any dog at 2 years old, but she is a blessing and a very very loyal, fun loving dog. I want to give kudos to her breeder, but I have to find their info first.

The story behind her name – Breeders tend to give all of the pups in a litter related names, Rachael Ray has a brother and sister. Their names are “Emeril Lagassi” and “Paula Deen” Although her new mom was against it, we kept her name as Rachael Ray or simply “Ray” and we now have a cool story to tell.

Here are Ray and momo chillin as their mom and I are trying to watch some TV! Notice that he doesn’t want to be bothered  and that she is focused on me, this is a recurring trend. I think he was angry because she was blocking his view of Lost just as the smoke monster was attacking someone!

Here is the stand-off as the two met for the first time. Let me say to all you people who think cats and dogs can not co exist. The reason that dogs chase cats is because cats run from them. Typically if you have a cat that will not run at the sight of a dog, then the dog will simply try and smell the cat, maybe get frisky and the cat will probably swat the dog and scurry away. problem solved. Ray had never been around cats in her life and she adapted no problem.

Here is momo keeping Ray’s crate bed warm, she was crate trained all her life, so we bought it to keep some consistency for her before we allow her to stay “home alone.”  Well I let her stay out at my house, but her mom has really nice furniture and expensive persian rugs and shit that would be prime targets for pee, poop and teeth.

And here are some cool pics of Ray from walks and stuff, Ill add more as time goes by and maybe some cool iphone videos!
